Louisa Potter Hurst Helper/Cleveland, Utah Louisa Potter Hurst, 95, of Richfield, UT and formerly of Cleveland, UT, passed away Nov. 19, 2006. She was born on February 13, 1911 in Cleveland, Utah to Joseph and Agnes McFarlane Potter. She attended Snow College and graduated with her Associate Degree in 1931. She married Robert John Hurst on March 26, 1934 in Price, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized on August 14, 1969 in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1961. Together they had three children, Robert M. (Janet) Hurst, Salt Lake City, Clyde J. (Julia) Hurst, Richfield, and Joy L. (Russell) Mickelson, Las Vegas, Nevada. Louisa was an active member of the LDS Church. She served in the Primary, MIA, Sunday School, Relief Society, and Family History organizations. As a young woman she loved tap dancing and always enjoyed good music. Her career included secretarial positions, teacher of business courses and Registrar of College of Eastern Utah in Price. Her favorite activities included candy making, crocheting, needlepoint, reading and gardening. Louisa is survived by her children, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, and her brothers, Sydney Matthias Potter, Joseph Duncan Potter, Edgar Sampson Potter, James Harold Potter, and Joseph Warren Potter. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in the Magleby Mortuary Chapel. Friends may call at the mortuary that morning after 9:30.
