Bonnie Dallimore, owner of Plant Jungle, has been named the Utah eBay Foundation Techquity Awardee of the Year.
Located at 2194 E. Fort Union Blvd. in Midvale, Plant Jungle has floor, ceiling, wall, corner and outdoor planters.
Dallimore will receive a $500 cash award at the "Celebrating Clients of the Utah Microenterprise Loan Fund" event today.
The UMLF is one of four organizations selected nationwide to participate as a local partner in the eBay Foundation Techquity Program and has awarded $45,000 to 34 microentrepreneurs for the purchase of computers, software, printers scanners and more.
The program was developed to assist microentrepreneurs in buying computers or related technology that will enhance or improve their businesses. The UMLF also works with awardees to provide technology training.
Through the foundation program, the UMLF offers awards of $500 to $1,600 to eligible clients to purchase technology and participate in related training.
