Obituary: Zetta Anderson Berg

Zetta Anderson Berg 4/30/14 ~ 11/3/06 Zetta Anderson Berg, 92, passed away Friday, November 3, 2006 in Boise, Idaho. She was born April 30, 1914 in Ephraim, Utah the daughter of Grace Madonna Cherry and Ferry Hillard Anderson. She graduated from West High School and completed business school. Zetta married Leonard Sanders Berg April 13, 1936 in the Salt Lake Temple. Through Leonard's work she lived in several areas of the west and in Washington D.C. They retired to Utah. She was known for her love and devotion to family, avid study of the scriptures, genealogy and temple work, love of history, gardening and sewing. She also had great enjoyment in hearing her husband's musical talents. Zetta is survived by a daughter, Sylvia (Hugh) Atchley of Boise; a son, Richard (Sandi) of Virginia; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchild-ren; and also her nieces and their families. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Sanders Berg; son, Gordon Arnold Berg; and sisters, Andy Lena Petersen and Ethyl Lynn Carlson. Her family wishes to thank the many loving hearts and hands that cared for her. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary. Family will greet friends and family at 9 a.m. and the funeral service at 10a.m. Interment will follow at Wasatch Lawn Cemetery.
