Eighteen people were a perfect 12 for 12 last week in the college Grid Pick contest. But Michael Eaton of Kaysville was closest on the tiebreaker with 8 and wins tickets to an upcoming football game and a Grid Picks T-shirt.
Runners-up among the 1,113 entries were Devin Jackson of Cedar Hills (12 on tiebreaker), Brent Keele of Gainesville, Fla. (16), Randy Hugie of Nibley and Michael Reid of Vancouver, Wash., (both 17), Ryan Sorensen of Garland (19) and Lance Loveland of Burley, Idaho, (21).
Among media panelists, Loren Jorgensen and Amy Donaldson of the Deseret Morning News went 10-2 and Jon Ringwood and Tom Kirkland were 9-3. Greg Wrubell was 8-4 but retains the overall lead.
