Continued from previous column. Megan was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from Seminary and Institute and served in many teaching and leadership capacities in both Relief Society and Primary. She received her Young Womanhood medallion in 1998. Megan loved the gospel of Jesus Christ which was reflected in her countenance and testimony as she lived its principles. She was indeed, a Daughter of God. Young and beautiful, Megan had so many promised blessings ahead. In an effort to find understanding, we look to Alma, a Prophet in the Book of Mormon. In Alma 7:11-12, he said, regarding our Savior, Jesus Christ, "And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities." Her name, Megan Christine, was chosen for her upon it's meaning, "Great One, Beloved of God." We truly believe that, as others, "...the Lord receiveth (Megan) up unto himself, in glory (Alma 14:11)." He loves her and she loves Him. Megan is survived by her loving husband Philip, son, Wesley, daughters, Tessa and Krissy. Megan is also survived by her parents, Tim and Maureen, sister, Arianne (Adam) Brown (children, Anderson and Aspen) and Molly Maureen (Fianc?, Paul Burkenshaw). She is survived by brothers Blair Timothy (Mary and daughter Elliott), Elder Rand Benjamin Einfeldt (Singapore Mission), Joel Duane, Jace Michael, Court Davidson, Coy Jackson and Kett Wesley. She is survived by grandparents David and Etoy Einfeldt of Green Pond, Alabama; and Duane and Gloria Crimin of Ogden. She is also survived by her in-laws, Joseph and NaDene Heywood of Brigham City and many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws who have treasured relationships with her. Megan was preceded in death by a grandmother, Judy Einfeldt and great-grandmother, Beda Einfeldt. She is survived by so many friends, many she didn't even know, but they knew her. Memories of her love and example will live on in our hearts. She truly endeared all she met. The family would like to sincerely thank all medical and support teams both at LDS Hospital and Valley View Medical Center. We are deeply grateful for your love and goodness to her. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cedar City North Stake Center (95 N. 2125 W).
