HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. — Relief Society sisters in the Falcon Park Ward, Highlands Ranch Colorado Stake, joined the Mongolian Community Association of Colorado (MCAC) on Sept. 24 to assemble school kits for nomadic children in Mongolia. The project began through Nara Thompson, a convert from Mongolia. The sisters, aided by members in Utah and Idaho, worked diligently to gather supplies including backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pens, calculators, rulers, glue and colored pencils.

The president of MCAC, Zula Tserendejid, thanked the Church for its extraordinary service. Viewing over 150 assembled kits which will be shipped through the MCAC, the president told Sister Thompson, "Your Church members showed me and others how to perform humanitarian work. Now I know what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is all about. Thank you for showing us the way to perform service projects."
