PROVO — Some lucky shopper's holiday debt will get a lot more manageable tonight when Provo Town Centre selects the winner of $2,000 in prizes.
The award, part of the mall's "$2,000 Reasons to Shop" campaign, will be given to one of 40 finalists in a drawing at 7 p.m. on the lower level in front of JC Penney.
The promotion began Nov. 20 and was open to any shopper who spent at least $25 at the mall. Shoppers could enter the contest once a day during the promotion, and organizers drew 10 finalists each week since the contest began.
And although only one of those 40 finalists will win the grand prize, Provo Towne Centre officials have made arrangements with retailers within the mall to provide prizes for the other 39 people as well.
The grand prize includes a $1,000 gift certificate to the mall and $1,000 in cash.
