Obituary: Richard Phillips Chamberlain

Richard Phillips Chamberlain 1934 - 2006 Richard Chamberlain passed away suddenly at his home in Riverton, Utah on February 24, 2006. He was born April 24, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Harry and Anne Chamberlain and was married on December 28, 1956 to Kara Lynn Chamberlain in the Salt Lake Temple. Though later divorced, they remained close friends. He graduated with degrees in finance and law from the University of Utah. Richard practiced law privately and then for the federal government until he retired. He enjoyed fishing with his brothers, spending time with his family and was an avid gardener with a special love for his roses. Richard was preceded in death by his daughter Kaye, and is survived by his children: Diane Chamberlain (Joseph Ward), Dr. Bruce Chamberlain (Kathy), Michelle (Kyle Unice) and the pride and joy of his life, his grandchildren: Darren, Jason, Sasha, Justin, Brian, Jake, Austin, Josh and Hailey. He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Chapel on Thursday, March 2nd at 2:00 pm. There will be a viewing one hour prior to the service.
