Francis Emery Webb 1910 ~ 2006 Francis Emery Webb, 95, passed away peacefully in his home in Sandy, Utah, February 2, 2006. He was born July 25, 1910 in Sugar City, Idaho, to George Francis Webb and Florence Emery Webb. He married his sweetheart, Annis Lydia Martineau in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, October 28, 1938. Francis was employed by Kennecott Copper Mine for 37 years, retiring in 1975. His life has been one of service to the Lord and he has served in many capacities in the LDS Church. He earned his Eagle Scout Award. His many interests included reading, gardening, tropical fish, painting, playing the piano and spending time with his family. He is survived by his children, George Alan (Louise), David (Bonnie), Nancy, Jonathan (Pam), Douglas (Nancy), Jerrold (Laniece), Steve (Jeri), Lila (Dan) Brown, Loralie (Curtis) Ricord, Michael (Linda); 82 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annis; and son, Lynn. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 7, 2006, 11 a.m., at the LDS Sandy Second Ward Chapel, 586 E. 8400 S., Sandy. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m., at Lake Hills Mortuary, 10055 S. State Street, Sandy, at the Church one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Sandy City Cemetery, 9000 S. 700 E.
