Linda Edwards Elliot 1943 ~ 2006 Linda Elliot, daughter of Norma (Naisbitt) Garn and G. Richard Edwards, passed away March 9, 2006, her 63rd birthday. She was born in Logan, Utah March 9, 1943. She was a graduate of Logan High and attended Utah State University. She started her career in sales and she later owned four of her own businesses. Her last business was a successful non-profit, credit counseling company in San Diego, CA that assisted people in achieving financial freedom. She moved to San Diego from Holladay in 1983 and just recently moved back to spend more time with her grandchildren and family. Linda was a loving and devoted mother, grammy, and daughter. She spent her life giving to her children, grandchildren, and family. She will always be remembered for her loving and selfless devotion to her family. She was always there when you needed her and would call just to see how things were going. She enjoyed the beach, traveling (especially to England), and spending time at the family summer home in Logan. She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Norma and Stacy Garn; her daughter, Krista Mecham (Troy); five grandchildren (Amber, Troy Jr., Joshua, Justin, and Violet); sister-in-law, Brenda Thompson (Stan); two nephews, Patrick and Tarran Edwards (Tamera); and three aunts (Kay Williams, Nadine Smith, and Nancy Armstrong).
