Tammy Painter Palmer 1970 ~ 2006 Tammy Painter Palmer, our beautiful and loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and aunt, returned peacefully to our Heavenly Father on February 28, 2006. She came into this world, the youngest child of Darrell and Lorraine (Atkin) Painter on March 6, 1970 in Salt Lake City Utah. Her life was truly a gift and our lives have been richly blessed because of her presence here on this earth. Tammy attended Tooele High School and is a graduate of Brigham Young University. She had many talents, but she loved to dance and was a member of the BYU International Folkdance team. She married Todd Palmer in the Salt Lake City Temple and they were blessed with one beautiful daughter, Kylee Nicole, who was the light of her life. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother. It was evident that being a mother was her most important role in her life. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many callings throughout her short life. Although she struggled with illness and trials she remained strong and faithful to the end. She was a perfect example and her life has made a lasting impression on all her knew her. She brought new meaning to the term enduring to the end and the importance of never giving up. She taught us compassion, the value and love of family and friends, patience, perfection, faith and unfailing love. Tammy was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside and those who were fortunate to know her, truly loved her. We will miss her beautiful infectious smile, her sense of style, her twinkling blue eyes, her sense of humor, her beauty, her laughter and the way she could light up a room with her presence. She leaves behind her husband and best friend Todd, her beautiful daughter Kylee Nicole, her parents and five brothers and sisters, David (Syndee) Painter, Broomfield, CO; Lori (Don) Fanning, Tooele; Stacey (Garry) Bolinder, Grantsville; Melanie Painter, Tooele; Kelly (Joan) Painter, Granstville; grandmother Irene Atkin, father-in-law and mother-in-law Richard and Carolyn, sister-in-law Pam (Alan) Jones, brothers-in-law Scott Palmer and Brett (Sandra) Palmer and 20 nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her grandparents Claude and Ometa Atkin and Glen and Pearl Painter.
