Obituary: Jeremy Allen Myers

Jeremy Allen Myers 1975 ~ 2006 "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." Jeremy Allen Myers, age 30 died March 14, 2006 in Layton, Utah due to a 7 month battle with metastatic malignant melanoma cancer. Jeremy was born August 16, 1975 to Erick and Susan Myers. Jeremy graduated from Layton High School in 1993. Jeremy served a mission to Mexico Leon from 1994-1996. He then attended Utah State University where he met his one true love Kellie Bowen. They were married in the Bountiful Utah Temple on August 8, 1998. Together through their union, they were blessed with two beautiful children; Jeremy James and Megan Emalie. Jeremy is survived by his wife, Kellie, children, James and Megan Myers; parents, Erick Myers and Susan Myers, siblings, Marni Myers, Holly (Jason) Beal, Marshall Myers and two nephews. He is survived by in-laws, Don and Clydene Bowen; brothers-in-law, Chris Bowen, Tony Bowen and sister-in-law, Anne Bowen; grandparents, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by grandfather, Joseph Allen. We would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Dr. Samlowski and team, Rocky Mountain Hospice and Dr. William Bloedon and staff at the Kihei Clinic. We would also like to thank Arben and Crystal Kreyziu and Marriott's Maui Ocean Club for the compassion showed during these difficult months. Funeral services will be Monday, March 20, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Layton 18th Ward Chapel, 275 Park Ave. A visitation will be held Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East 10600 South in Sandy and from 9:45-10:45 at the church prior to the services.
