Obituary: Tim R. Simon

Tim R. Simon "Loving Husband and Father" 1956 ~ 2006 Tim R. Simon, 49, our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and grandson, passed away March 19, 2006 while following one of his many loves-skiing with his sons. He was born November 23, 1956 in Murray, Utah to Richard "Dick" Raymond and JoAnn Fawson Simon. On June 10, 1976, Tim married Cheri Lynn Millerberg in Sandy, Utah. Tim worked for many years at United Rentals as a Sales Representative. He was an avid skier and ski jumper and also enjoyed camping, fishing, and golfing. He participated with his father, Dick Simon, in auto racing as a member of the pit crew. Tim loved Cheri's dogs and had a big heart, giving assistance to all who needed help. Survivors: wife, Cheri; sons, Nicholas (Tracy) Simon, Nathan Simon; parents, Dick Simon (Dianne); mother, JoAnn Anderson (Bill); grandmother, Anna Biggs; sisters, Robin Cripps, Cindy Blake (Bob), Teresa DuPaix (Ron). Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State where friends may call Wednesday 6-8 p.m. or Thursday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens.
