Owen A. Kline "Together Again" Owen Arthur Kline, of Kearns, Utah, age 87, died March 21, 2006 at Jordan Valley Hospital, West Jordan, Utah. Owen served in the US Army Air Corps during World War II, earning a field commission as a 2nd Lieutenant while fighting in Italy. He retired from the US Air Force in 1962. He worked for Civil Service for 20 years at Hill Air Force Base and retired from there in 1982. He traveled over the earth, from Europe to Asia, and loved the mountains of Utah. He chose this place to live and raise his family. He bowled with his friends and loved and cared for his family. His gentle voice and kind assistance will be missed by all who knew him, but mostly by his children, all 10 of us. Owen is survived by his children, Michael and Christine Kline, Bella Vista, AK; Amanda and John Farr, Heber City, UT; Evan and Edith Kline, Kearns, UT; Jon and Cindy Kline, Aberdeen, WA; and Robyn and Tim Bosley, Council Bluffs, IA; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers: Earl and Howard; sister, Euglena. He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelda; two grandchildren: Amber Beth Kline and Rebecca Kay Kline; brothers: Glenn, Lloyd and Kenneth; and sister, Mattie Calvin. His funeral service will be held Friday, March 24, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park Chapel, 17111 South Redwood Road, Bluffdale, Utah. A viewing will be held Thursday, March 23, 2006, 6-8:00 p.m. and Friday at the Cemetery Chapel, 1-1:45 p.m. prior to service. He will be buried next to his wife, Zelda, at Utah Veterans Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society of Utah.
