Arlene Pearce Hauser 1924 ~ 2005 Arlene passed away peacefully at her home March 3, 2006 after a brief illness. She was born July 19, 1924 in Sunnyside, Utah to Charles H. and Elzina Pearce. She married Albert Hauser, September 13, 1942 and celebrated their 62nd anniversary before his death in 2005. Arlene was loved by many because of her service and her love of life. She enjoyed bowling, golf, playing board and card games. She also loved to travel and see new places. Another one of her hobbies was to put together family photo albums and organize obituaries of family and friends; this will be her final entry. Family was her greatest blessing and she served them in any way possible. The Hauser home was the "hub" of activity. Birthday parties, outdoor recreation and good food was always available. Arlene was a wonderful cook and she enjoyed cooking for family or friends who would frequent their home. Survived by sister, Eunice Nelson; children, Robert (Sherri) Hauser, Taylorsville, Utah; Gary (Gayle) Hauser, White Oaks, N.C.; Bill (Faye) Hauser, Calgary, Canada; Karen (Vern) Wardle, Cupertino, CA; Dennis (Cindy) Hauser, Calgary, Canada; Debbie (Martin) Anderson, Salt Lake City, UT.; Ron (Brenda) Hauser, West Jordon, UT.; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband and three grandchildren. Funeral services to b held Monday, March 6, 2006 at 11:00 am at the LDS Church, 601 East Mansfield Avenue (3117 South). Friends may call Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Salt Lake City and at the ward one hour prior to services. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah.
