Sierra Dawn Woodward 1990 ~ 2006 Sierra Dawn Woodward left this life the same way that she came into it, too fast. She was born on May 28, 1990 and passed away on March 28, 2006. She was the long awaited second child of Rock Ace and Pamela Kay Kofford Woodward, and the one and only little sister of Utahna (Tahnie) Woodward. Sierra chose to leave this life and return to what she believed would be a better place. Sierra attended grade school at both Manila and Cedar Ridge Elementary, Mt. Ridge Jr. High and at the time of her death was a sophomore at American Fork High School. Sierra loved her animals, had a passion for writing poetry and for sewing. She had her dream of one day publishing a book of poems and having her own designing and clothing firm. She looked forward to the hunting and fishing trips with her dad and the traveling, concerts and shopping with her mother and sister. We will miss Si-Si's infectious smile, sense of humor and her way of surprising us with her new "hair-do's." She is survived by her parents, Rock and Pam, her sister Tahnie, her grandparents, Jerry Kofford of Highland, Donna Woodward of American Fork, Roy Woodward of Baker, NV, many special aunts, uncles and cousins. Sierra was preceded in death by her grandmother, Kay Hampton Kofford, several great-grandparents, uncles and cousins. A viewing will be held on Sunday, April 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Anderson & Sons Mortuary, 49 E 100 N, American Fork. "A Tribute to Her Life" will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 3 with a viewing one hour prior also at Anderson Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the "Sierra Woodward Sibling Scholarship Fund" c/o Cystinosis Research Network, 10 Pine Avenue, Burlington, MA 01803. Condolences may be sent to andersonmortuary.com.
