The eighth-annual Gumball 3000 rock 'n' roll car rally will make its first stop on American soil this weekend in Utah, with 120 cars — from Vipers to VWs — worth a total of nearly $28 million.

They've been driven through Europe and Asia before being flown into Salt Lake City for the third leg of the 3,000-mile race and can be seen Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Parking Place, northeast of the Delta Center.

From there, drivers will head to the Miller Motorsports Park, 2901 N. Sheep Lane, Tooele, where they can be seen in action free from noon-2 p.m.
