Michael Floyd Anderson "Skinner" RICHFIELD, Utah - Michael Floyd Anderson, 53, passed away June 19, 2006 at the family ranch in Daniels Canyon. Mike was born May 4, 1953 in Richfield, Utah to Nina Gaye Curtis and Hal F. Anderson. He married Julia Holgate, June 16, 1973 in Monroe, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple on June 16, 1979. He loved the mountains and enjoyed the time he spent camping, riding horses and working the cattle. He loved his animals and always remembered them in his prayers. At the time of his death, he was moving cattle to summer feed. He drove truck for many years, worked in the oil field, built fence, outfitting and many other jobs. He was a hard worker and always kept busy. He was the Safety Manager at D.P. Curtis Trucking and helped his Uncle Dent with his farm and cattle. Mike loved caring for his family and always made sure they had everything they needed. His children looked up to him and were very proud of him. He had many friends and enjoyed his time with them. He is survived by his wife, Julia of Richfield; children, Amy Lee (Wendell) Likes of Richfield, Sara Lynn (Ryan) Hansen of Nephi, KayCee Michael Anderson of Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, Haylee, Jordan, Hanna; brothers and sisters, Becky (Danny) York of Willden, ID, Chad (Jennifer) Anderson of Richfield, Jan Johnson of Provo, Milton "Buddy" Morgan of Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 4th, 7th, and 9th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West. Friends may call at the Magleby Mortuary, 50 South 100 West, on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the ward chapel on Friday from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Monroe City Cemetery.
