Obituary: Jennie Killian Braithwaite

Jennie Killian Braithwaite 1973 ~ 2006 Jennie Killian Braithwaite was called home to her Heavenly Father June 23, 2006 after a sudden and brief illness. Jennie was born December 6, 1973, in Provo, Utah to James F. and Dorothy (Reed) Killian. She was the ninth of 10 children. Lil' Jen brought sunshine and joy to everyone who knew her. She fearlessly embraced life and excelled in all of her pursuits. She overcame every challenge in her life. On November 19, 2005 she married her soul mate, Rion Braithwaite, who brought much love and joy into her life. No woman has ever had a kinder, sweeter, gentler husband. Rion brought two daughters, Avalon and Aubrilynn, into their marriage. Jennie loved them as if they were her own. Jennie graduated from Provo High School, Rick's College, and with high honors from Provo College. In high school, she enjoyed gymnastics and cheerleading. She loved skiing, swimming, rock climbing, scuba diving, camping, collecting shoes, and having fun. She loved to laugh and was quick to find humor in everyday life. Jennie is survived by her loving husband, Rion; two stepdaughters, Avalon and Aubrilynn; and parents, Jim and Dottie Killian. She will be missed by all of her brothers and sisters, Karen Killian, Sharon and David Barrus, Hal and Lasca Killian, Scott and Rebecca Killian, Lisa and Noji Ratzlaff, Sue and Dave James, Julie Killian, Shane and Andra Killian, and Becky Killian. Jennie is also survived by 19 nephews and 10 nieces who loved and adored her. Funeral services will be held Wed-nesday, June 28th, 11 a.m. in the Grandview 15th Ward chapel, 1122 North Grand Avenue, Provo.
