Savannah Nicole Noel Staley "Savvy" Savannah Nicole Noel Staley, our daughter, passed away peacefully in her sleep June 30, 2006. "Savvy", as she was known, was loved by everyone. She walked to the beat of her own drum, cherished life, enjoyed writing, poetry, and spending time with family and friends. As a Senior at Brighton High School, she had aspirations of being a writer and publishing her own magazine, appropriately titled "Savvy." Savannah had eyes that were warm and a heart of gold. Her daddy called her "Angel Eyes"; mom called her "Pookie Bear" and grandparents just called her "My Special." She is survived by her daddy, Timothy J. Staley; mom, Joie B. Cummings; and stepdad, Paul Ashton; siblings, Michael, Carla, Crystal, Silvie, Cassidy, and Joseph; her grandparents, Darrell and Julie Staley; Joe and Silvia Cummings, Gina and Kent Homewood; and her godparents, Richard and Carol Lucero. She is also survived by her "other mother", Karla D. Allan and her children, Mason, Cortland, and Callie; along with many uncles, aunts and cousins. Open visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State from, 5-7 p.m. with Eulogy services from 7-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be set up in the name of Savannah Staley to benefit the "American Diabetes Association."
