Traveling the Mount Nebo Scenic Loop may be difficult Saturday, unless you're riding in the Tour of Utah cycling race.
Because of the large number of cyclists participating in the race, Uinta National Forest officials are encouraging recreationists to avoid the loop between 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The race will begin at Payson Canyon and end at the Monument Trailhead. Signs will be posted to advise travelers of delays. Access to campgrounds along this route also will be affected.
The Tour of Utah brings the top professional cyclists to Utah to compete in an elite six-day road cycling stage race.
