Floyd Edmond Morris 1925 ~ 2006 Floyd Edmond Morris born December 6, 1925, passed away from a lingering battle with diabetes and congestive heart failure on September 5, 2006. Floyd was a loving father, husband, and good friend who will be missed greatly by his family: wife Darlene, children: Linda Ilene, Patricia Darlene, and Gary Clayton (Carol), grandchildren: Staci, Rick and Kevin, great-grandson: Braxton, sisters: Delma Macklin (Bruce), and Faye Neff (Floyd). Preceded in death by grandson Jeffrey, brother Wayne, parents Albert Oscar Morris and Rosina Sparks Morris. Floyd was born in Bingham, Utah and grew up in Sandy. He graduated from Jordan High School, attended the University of Utah majoring in Engineering, and served as a navigator in the Army Air Corp in World War II and retired from Hercules as manager of the Power Plant. Floyd made every effort to stay physically active to control his diabetes. This often included trimming trees, and offering his electrical and mechanical skills to help neighbors. He was always so willing to help others and he will be greatly missed by all. A viewing will be held Friday, September 8th, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple.
