Obituary: Phyllis Kane Kratochvil

Phyllis Kane Kratochvil 1914 ~ 2007 Phyllis Kane Kratochvil, born February 6, 1914, died peacefully in the house she lived in all her life January 23, 2007. Devoted daughter of Mabel Burnett Wheeler Kane and Thomas Kane. Predeceased by husband, Joseph Kratochvil, the love of her life. Phyllis worked for many years at ZCMI. She loved to garden, listen to information programs on the radio, and had a special interest in health and nutrition. She cared for her parents and husband in their final illnesses. She was a gentle soul, and never harmed anyone. Phyllis is survived by cousins Dorothy Burnett Willey, Arlinda Price Parr her son Terence and daughter Sheila Parr Taylor, many distant cousins, and special friend, Catherine Parr Brooks. Visitation from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple. Interment following in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
