Richard Bingle

1950 ~ 2007

As untraditional and original as they come, Rick Bingle lived a fulfilling and adventurous life. Born March 26, 1950 to Edmund and Mary Bingle. He passed away October 18, 2007 after a battle with brain cancer. Rick served his Country by volunteering for the Marines and a tour in Vietnam where he was awarded two Purple Hearts. Rick was an avid outdoorsman who loved exploring Southern Utah in his Jeep, but more than that he was a die-hard ski bum who lived by the "Alta Is For Skiers" mentality. An Alta season pass holder since 1967, he acquired the nickname "The Supreme Being" after always being spotted in Catherine's off of Supreme. Above all, Rick was known for his dedication to his family which extended far beyond his two sons, Robby and Colby, and loving wife of 23 years, Terri. He touched a lot of people with his warm heart and openness. "The Harry" beard will be missed severely but will always live on in the ones he taught and connected with, and he will always be in our spirits and our turns in the powder.

Memorial Service, Saturday, October 27th, 11:00 a.m. at the Alta Peruvian Lodge. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your favorite charity.
