I agree with Stanford Russon (Readers' Forum, Nov. 17). Coffee bars do not belong in public schools. Caffeine is a strong stimulant. And young minds already have a concentration problem with the tasks at hand. But to assume that the 250 million Americans who drink coffee, Mountain Dew or even hot chocolate are "only one step ahead" of becoming drug addicts is absurd.
