OREM — The Utah State Board of Nursing has approved Mountainland Applied Technology Center to offer a licensed practical nurse program.
MATC, part of the Utah College of Applied Technology, will begin offering the program in January.
Twenty students will be admitted twice a year, in August and January.
If students complete the LPN program, they can begin working in a clinic or prepare for an RN program. The LPN program lasts a year.
