OREM — A 21-year-old man shot in the head here Friday died of his injuries Saturday afternoon, police said Sunday.
Manuel Saucedo of Orem was taken to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center after the shooting, which occurred at about 250 N. 280 West early Friday morning. His family arrived at the hospital from out of state on Saturday and was with him when he died, police said.
Officers are looking for 28-year-old Raul Brito. Police said they believe Brito was with Saucedo and several other friends when the shooting occurred.
Brito left the scene before police arrived, according to a release from Orem police. Brito and Saucedo lived together with several other friends, according to the statement.
Brito is believed to be driving a black 1999 Chevrolet Silverado with license plate number 662 UEJ. Police have asked anyone with information about his whereabouts to call them at 801-229-7070.
