Gretchen Mart Bonsignore
"Special Lady"
Gretchen Mart, our loving companion and special friend, passed away December 27, 2007 at her home after a lingering illness. Gretchen was born in Grinnell, Iowa to Geroge Hubert and Marguerite Otis Mart.Gretchen was a dedicated and respected health professional, working at Valley Mental Health for 29 years and as a social worker in various capacities. She received a BA Degree from the University of Iowa and Masters Degree from the University of Denver. Gretchen's greatest pleasures were golfing, playing cards of any kind, and going to lunch or dinner with her friends. Her golfing and lunch friends were, to name a few, Laraine Anderson, Judy Ward, Cindy Ashworth, Kelly Williams, Jo Stewart and Sue Fisher; her bridge club friends, Jeanie and Clyde Francis, Dick and Barbara Casper, Kevin and Kelly Conlin and Gary and Julie Casper. She will also be missed by her many friends and clients from Valley Mental Health.

Survivors: life partner and companion, Joey Bonsignore; her beloved Shitsu dog, Jazzi; her new family, daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Doug Robinson; grandchildren, Jake and Janessa Robinson; daughter, Camile Bonsignore; son, Rocky Bonsignore; grandson, Justin Joseph; granddaughters, Mandy and Ashley; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Todd Meranda; nephew, Corporal T. J. Meranda; nephew and niece, Chad and Jenn Dunn.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State. Graveside services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 at 12 Noon in the Grand Junction City Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colorado. "Sweetie", We will miss you so much until we're with you again. It was my pleasure to witness the classy way you associated with your friends and work associates. I was proud of your "two holes-in-one" as I know you were. Golf was your game!! Until we're together again, Love Joey.
