John Terry Douglas III 1979 ~ 2007 John Terry Douglas III (JD) passed away in a traffic accident February 7, 2007. Born October 31, 1979 in Salt Lake City to John Douglas and Elizabeth Johns Douglas. Married Lauren Elizabeth Hoffman July 7, 2005. John attended Tooele High School and at the time of his death was a student at Salt Lake Community College. He was employed at Convergys. John loved everyone and was well-loved by everyone. He was an avid photographer and he loved to cook. He was slow to anger and quick to forgive. He always said "Hi" to random strangers and was willing to help everyone. He loved animals and always brought home more pets. He was known for building things out of duct tape, a fascination with gnomes, and having an adorable giggle. He is survived by his wife, Lauren; mother, Elizabeth Douglas (Larry Bacon); father, John (Lorrene); grandparents, Terry and Rosemary Douglas, Salt Lake City; mother and father-in-law, Fran and Mark Anderson, Brentwood, CA; Uncle Eugene (Gladys) Harshbarger, Guatemela; Glenn, David, Adam, "B", and loving friends. He was preceded in death by Grandparents Gus and Carolyn Johns. A memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the Tooele First Assembly of God Church, 127 North 7th St, Tooele, UT. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a memorial fund that has been set up at Tooele Federal Credit Union for "John Douglas III."
