Danny White, the former Arizona State All-American and Dallas Cowboys star quarterback, is now in his 15th season as an AFL head coach and his second with the Blaze. His 148 victories are the second most in league history.

Prior to joining the Blaze, White coached the Arizona Rattlers for 13 seasons from 1992-2004. He won two ArenaBowl championships (1994 and 1997) and went to the ArenaBowl three other times (2002, 2003, 2004). White also won the AFL's Coach of the Year Award in 1993. He is also a member of four halls of fame — the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame, the Arizona State University Hall of Fame, the College Football Hall of Fame and the AFL Hall of Fame.

As an NFL player, the Cowboys won three NFC East titles in his five years as the team's starting quarterback. His 29 touchdown passes in 1983 still stands as the Cowboys' single season record.
