Della Vera Leetham 1911 ~ 2007 Vera passed away in Tooele, Utah on February 2, 2007 following a short illness; she was 95 years old. She was born in Mammoth, Utah on August 9, 1911 to George Lester and Hannah Witty VanNosdol. She grew up in the Mammoth/Eureka area where she met her husband Raymond McCoy Leetham. They were married Nov. 6, 1927. She had a great love for her family whom she cherished dearly. She and Ray were blessed with seven beautiful children, five girls and two boys, who in turn blessed them with 25 grandchildren, 72 great-grand-children and 34 great-great-grandchildren. Vera loved spending time with her family, some of her favorite times spent with them were on road trips, she didn't care whether they were vacationing or just taking a drive for the day, she loved going places and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son George (Bill) Leetham of Tooele; daughters LaWayne Lemmon of Grantsville and Nancy Jumonville of Salt Lake City, Utah; son in-law Larry Cox of Twin Falls Idaho; 20 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and 34 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Hannah and step-father Richard Eden; husband Ray, son Richard; daughters Naoma, Leona and an infant daughter; sons-in-law Ralph, Jim and Al; daughters-in-law Verneta and Iris, brothers and sisters, George, William, Thelma and Virginia; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grantsville 3rd Ward LDS Chapel, at 415 W. Apple, Grantsville, Utah. There will be a viewing one hour prior to services, burial will be in the Grantsville City Cemetery.
