Noreen Acord Wheeler 1934 ~ 2007 Enid Noreen Acord Wheeler passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2007. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother with a generous heart that always thought of others first. She was born on April 6, 1934 in Spring City, Utah to Orson Thayne Acord and Genniel Baxter. She married her high school sweetheart, Ronald V. Wheeler on September 10, 1954 in the Manti LDS Temple. She attended schools in Spring City, Utah and graduated from North Sanpete High School. She also attended Snow College. She was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as Primary President, Stake Primary President, and secretaries in Sunday School and Relief Society. She served the last 15 years typing Patriarchal Blessings for Springville Stake Patriarch Ray Cope. Noreen worked throughout her life as a secretary in different capacities in the school systems including 20 years at Springville High School. She always took a genuine interest in those around her showing her care and concern for others. Noreen is survived by her husband of over 52 years; children: Annette Davis, Mary Lynne (Alan) York, Kathryn (Calvin) Crandall, and Mark (Kristie Bird) Wheeler; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Pamela (Russell) Jorgensen, Judith Acord Anthony; Brothers: Michael (Jolene) Watson, Dennis (Kaye) Watson, Donald (Nanette) Watson, William (Marlyn) Acord, Dean (Loraine) Acord. She is preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Genniel Watson and Orson Thayne and Lorraine Acord. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 2, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Springville Stake Center, 600 East 245 South, Springville. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville, and on Friday, one hour prior to services at the church.
