William "Bill" Gutierrez 1931 ~ 2007 MAGNA - Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, William "Bill" Gutierrez passed away March 15, 2007 at his home in Magna with his family by his side. He was born September 4, 1931 in Blanco, New Mexico to William and Manuelita Valencia Gutierrez. He married Rose Valasquez February 9, 1952 in Blanco, NM. Bill worked at Tooele Army Depot and retired from Utah Carpenters and Cement Masons Local 68 where he had many friends. He was a devoted Christian, loved Christian music, and loved animals. Survived by his wife, Rose; children, Leo (Jane), Carol, Joey (Candi), Edward, Alvin, Stephan, Shanice, and Devan; 23 grand-children; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leo, Benny, and Manuel Gutierrez; and sister, Faye Lobato. Preceded in death by his parents; son, Billy; and daughter, Louise. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2007 at Magna Christian Church, 8697 W. 2700 So., Magna. Friends and family may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So., and Monday 9-9:45 a.m. at the church. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
