In a Nutshell: In this journey novel, Mason tells a riveting account of a 14-year-old girl who makes a difficult, frightening journey from one part of her vast country to another in a desperate search for her missing brother. The author does a magnificent job of telling an exciting story through the eyes of a young girl. The prose is electrifying.
