PAYSON — Payson Middle School students are staging the popular Broadway hit "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."
Dan Christensen plays the lead role in the upbeat musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Other student actors include Everett Peterson as his father Jacob, and as his brothers: Tyler Hill, Kaden Nelson, Bryce Clyde, Rylee Walker-Eddy, Cordell Noyes, Jesse Dennis, Brad Butler, Stetson Stewart, Dayton Pebbles, Andrew Midgley, Austin Perry, Brayden Madson and Stacey Tuckett.
Narrators are Alexa Eaves, Faith Greenwood, Haylee Harris, Hannah Stephens and Mykenna Craine. Teachers cast 160 students to give each at least one chance to perform. The school is putting the play on for three nights, said English instructor Rebecca Reber.
The musical runs April 26, 27 and 30 beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at Payson Middle School, 851 W. 450 South, and must be purchased in advance because of limited seating. Call 465-6040 for more information.
