The Boniello sextuplets, Trifon, left, Olivia, Sabrina, Gerard, Sophia and Stella, await the start of a ceremony celebrating their 10th birthday at Stony Brook University on Thursday in Stony Brook, N.Y. The Boniello sextuplets, children of Beverly and Rocco Boniello, were born at Stony Brook University Hospital on March 24, 1997. At the time of their birth, the Boniello children were the third set of sextuplets known to survive in the United States and the 10th set to survive anywhere in the world.
