Jeffrey Lionel Crowell 1960 ~ 2007 Born November 22, 1960, Jeff passed away May 10, 2007. Throughout his life, Jeff demonstrated through his actions the love and concern he felt for all around him. He taught others by his example, despite the intense pain he endured during the past 11 years of his life. We will never understand the intensity or constancy of his pain, but are comforted to know that he is now pain-free. Jeff lived most of his years through high school in Soda Springs, Idaho. Following an LDS mission to Oakland, California, he has resided in Bountiful. Throughout his life, he constantly gave of himself through Church and community service, and especially enjoyed serving in a bishopric and in the young men's organization. Jeff was a one-of-a-kind in sports. He quickly excelled at all he tried - making it look way too easy. He took particular joy in coaching and blessed the lives of his sons and many others on the teams he coached in soccer, baseball, football and basketball. He made every athlete on his teams feel like they were his own, taking the time to teach the details of each sport. Jeff had a funny and quick wit. He had the right response to others' comments, always delivering them serious and straight faced. He would then walk away leaving the rest laughing. His sense of humor will be greatly missed, as will his strong influence for good. The strength of his testimony in the gospel of Jesus Christ is matched only by the profound love he felt for his wife and children. He and his wife, Myken, will have been married 18 years on May 26. She has been his rock. He is survived by his wife Myken and his four beautiful children: Coulter 14, Berkeley 13, Hayden 11, and Mya 5, his mother Sandra and his siblings Tracy (Julie), Rory (Ann), Shannon (Bob), and Brady, and his in-laws Ken and Gaye Reed. He was preceded in death by his father, Rudy. (We think they might already be fishing.) The funeral service will be held this week, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, the Jeffrey Crowell Family donation account has been opened at Zions Bank to accept donations for the education of Jeff's children.
