Robert Henry Slover 1913 ~ 2007 Robert Henry Slover, 93, of Provo, Utah died Saturday, May 19, 2007 at his home. He was born August 24, 1913 in Prague, Oklahoma a son of Arthur Pratt and Minnie Ethel McDavis Slover. He married Rosemarie Wood December 29, 1939 in Raymond, Alberta, Canada. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a MPA degree and received a PhD from Harvard. He was a retired U.S. Army Colonel and also a retired BYU Political Science professor. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had served in many positions. He served as president of the Korean Mission from 1968 to 1971 and served as president of the Korea Seoul Temple from 1985 to 1988. Survivors include his wife, Rosemarie Wood Slover; children, Robert H. (Robin) Slover II, Cindy Jo (Ned) Butikofer, Timothy W. (Mary) Slover, Kyu Jong (Alan) Covell; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchil-dren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24th at 1 p.m. in the Oak Hills Stake Center, 925 East North Temple Drive, Provo. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem and Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. prior to the services at the stake center.
