Joyce Louisa Nicholas Darrow 1934 ~ 2007 Joyce Louisa Nicholas Darrow, 72, passed away June 4, 2007 at her home from heart failure. Born October 8, 1934 in Ogden, Utah, to Joseph and Doran Howard Nicholas. Married Bill Darrow on April 10, 1953 in Tremonton, Utah, later solemnized in the Logan temple on July 18, 1961. A member of the LDS Church, serving as a temple worker with her husband, at the Jordan River Temple. Held many church callings. Joyce loved the Lord, the Gospel, her husband, and her family. She had a solid testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She was a talented seamstress, embroiderer, and scrap booker. Her real joy was genealogy, which she did, until the day she died. She loved missionary work and was part of recent conversions. Her husband Bill was her soul mate, they traveled often never tiring of new adventures. Working in sales and marketing, she was the driving force at Anser-Fone Inc., from 1974 until her death. She is survived by her husband and children, Debra (David) Steffgen, Lori (Jim) Barnhurst, Craig (Claudeen), Kevin (Molly), Jana (Randy) Ewing, 22 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters Valora Chournos, Thera Huish, Janet (Ralph) Carter, brothers Howard (Kathleen) Nicholas, Dale (Nancy) Nicholas. Preceded in death by parents and brother Joseph Nicholas, newborn baby boy Darrow and grandson, Wilson Ewing. Funeral Services, June 12, at 11:00 a.m. at River Ridge Stake Center, 10168 S. 1000 W., South Jordan. Viewing, June 11, 6-8 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe, 1007 W.
