Viva C. Ackerman Taylor 1917 ~ 2007 Surrounded by her loving family, Viva died at home in Mackay Idaho, June 8, 2007. Previously from Joseph, UT. and Rupert, ID. Born May 10, 1917 in Widstoe, Utah to Parley and Diantha Ackerman, Married to Rex Leon Taylor June of 1936. Viva was a devoted mother to her children and a life-long rancher who loved working on her beautiful ranch, raising her cattle and being outdoors watching the wildlife roam free. Survived by her children, Shirlene (Kendal) Cloward, So. Jordan, Ut, Bruce Taylor, Woodscross, UT, Terry (Debra) Taylor, Idaho Falls, ID, Kennen Taylor, Mackay ID, Don Taylor, Rupert, ID; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren; brother, Boyd (Carol) Ackerman, Pleasant Grove UT; sisters, Melba Turner, Pleasant Grove, UT and Gelene (Dave) Davies, Sandy, UT. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rex Leon Taylor; sisters, Vonda Peterson, Lela Chappel and Gwen Gough. Memorial services at the Mount Mahogany 6th Ward Chapel, 1541 N. 1300 W., Pleasant Grove at 12:00 noon. Friends and family may call 1 hour before services. Burial at American Fork cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to Huntsman Cancer Institute.
