Kip Myers 1957 ~ 2007 MONA - Kip Newton Myers, beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend to all, passed away peacefully Saturday morning June 2, 2007 at the home of his sister Beverly in American Fork, Utah. He was born September 6, 1957 in Nephi, Utah, to Ray M. and Agnes N. Myers. He was educated in Mona, Nephi and graduated from Jordan Valley School. He was a four year seminary graduate. He loved participating in the Special Olympics and excelled in running, basketball and other athletic activities. After graduating from Jordan Valley, he worked at South Valley Enterprises and Mosaic. His life was dedicated to bringing joy to all who knew and loved him. He loved parties and family outings, especially his own birthday and Christmas. He had a special relationship with his savior and loved the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is survived by his father of Mona, sisters Charlyce (Don) Fowkes of Las Vegas, Nevada; Beverly (Lloyd) Hawkins of American Fork, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by his mother and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 8, 2007 in the Mona First Ward. Friends and family may call Friday at the church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Mona City Cemetery. Funeral directors, Anderson Funeral Home of Nephi.
