Lou Ella Bohman Lee Monroe, Utah Our sweet, beautiful and courageous mother, Lou Ella Bohman Lee, passed away at the home of her daughter in Bountiful, on July 24, 2007, about a month before her 92nd birthday. She was born September 1, 1915, in Monroe, Utah, to Fred and Ella Bohman. Her siblings are Dean, Keith, Lola, Johnny and Victor. She was married to Ernest H. Lee. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and a granddaughter, Krystal Randolph. Mother made the most of every moment and never gave up hope. She was a wonderful example of optimism in the face of daunting challenges and kept her sense of humor to the very end. Lou Ella was an inspiration to all who knew her. She loved her family and friends dearly and went the extra mile for everyone. She was an artist and a published poet, a member of The League of Utah Writers, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Literose Club and served many callings in the Monroe 4th LDS Ward. She delivered 100's of loaves of bread to friends and family and was the "delivery girl" of prescriptions for the family business, Monroe Drug. She finally gave that up when she was eighty-five. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her children, Richard Lee, Monroe; Linda (Allen) Sumsion, Bountiful; Thomas (Alice ) Lee, Monroe; Craig (Karen) Lee, West Valley City; Kathy Washburn, Bountiful; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lola Garrett, Seattle, WA.
