Obituary: Tyler Singh Chowdhry

Tyler Singh Chowdhry 1991 ~ 2007 Tyler Singh Chowdhry, born January 7, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Warinder and Susan Chowdhry; passed from this life on July 23, 2007, at Primary Children's Medical Center, with his parents by his side. God gave to us an angel to live in our midst for such a short time, and how grateful we are for each day that He gave Tyler to us. Although Tyler faced many challenges in his life, he met those challenges with determination. We were truly blessed by his willing spirit and his genuine love for everyone. We will miss Tyler each day of our lives, but we know that he is safe in the loving arms of his Heavenly Father, where he will now have the opportunity to run and play with the other children. He will not tire from the long walks or become winded when he runs. I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine, he said, For you to love the while he lives, and mourns for when he's dead It may be six or even seven years, or twenty-two or three. But will you, til I call him back, take care of him for me? He'll bring his charms to gladden you, and should his stay be brief, You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief Now will you give him all your love, not think the labor vain, Nor hate me when I come to call, to take him back again? Tyler loved his family, friends from school, the nurses, the therapist, and doctors at Primary Children's Medical Center. We would like to thank Marion Walker, MD, Sharon Weinstein, MD, and Sidney Tanner, PNP, for their exceptional care and love for Tyler. Tyler is survived by his parents, brother, Daniel Chowdhry, grandparents H. Lee and Sheila Harris, Ron and Linda Roskos. Also survived by great-grandparents, uncles, aunts, and many cousins who will miss him dearly. Preceded in death by his grandparents Jagdish Singh and Gobind Kaur Chowdhry. The family ask that in lieu of flowers please donate in Tyler's name to the Primary's Foundation for Hydrocephalus Research at Primary Children's Medical Center, 100 N. Medical Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah 84113-1100. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday July 28, 2007 in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. Services will be preceded by a viewing 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Walker Mortuary of Spanish Fork. A viewing will also be held Friday July 27, 2007 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Walker Mortuary 187 South Main, Spanish Fork.
