Things are somewhat better in Jerusalem these days. The BYU center is open again, and a few tours are returning. But woodcarver Jimmy Abusbeih has so many friends in Utah that he's once again bringing his wood carvings here.

He'll be at the Historic Lehi Hotel, 394 W. Main, Lehi, on Aug. 17, from 5-8 p.m., and Aug. 18 and Aug. 20, from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. and earlier in the week by appointment.

The olive-wood carvings from Jimmy's Bazaar are handmade by his family and workers and feature many LDS as well as biblical themes. He will also have a selection of jewelry. For information, call 801-494-4794.
