OREM — Mity Enterprises Inc. said Tuesday it has named Randall Hales as its new chief executive officer.
Bradley T. Nielson, president and CEO, has announced he will leave the company. He will become a member of the company's board of directors.
Hales joins Mity after serving as president and CEO of Focus Electronics, formerly Back to Basics, and First Scientific Inc. His background includes a bachelor's of science degree from the School of Engineering at Brigham Young University and more than 17 years in operations, marketing and management.
Nielson, who has been at Mity-Lite for more than 13 years, has served as president since 1998 and president and CEO since 2002. He will be leaving the company to become president of Heritage Festivals.
Mity designs manufactures and markets institutional furniture.
