KAYSVILLE — The Youth of Promise and Utah State University are sponsoring a memorial service on Sept. 11 to remember those killed in the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
It also is designed to remember Utah's servicemen who have lost their lives.
The memorial service will be held at the USU Botanical Center, 920 S. 50 West in Kaysville.
The sunrise service will begin at 6:30 a.m., and organizers invite all servicemen and women to come dressed in uniform.
Utah National Guard Gen. Brian Tarbet will speak at the service.
