Joan Bollinger Boru died at her home in San Francisco August 25, 2007. She was born in San Francisco, California to Joseph S. and Betty Burns Bollinger on August 15, 1939. She was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. She married Bruce Porter in 1959, divorced and married Kevin Boru in 1983.
She is survived by her husband; her children Alissa Porter (Tom Walsh), Margot Zen (Michael) and Cameron Porter (Tracy); her grandchildren Justin Joseph Porter and Keira LeeAnn Porter; her sisters Anne Sears (Rob) and Tina Thatcher (Rick); her brothers Ron Bollinger (Marci) and Scott Bollinger. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Joseph S Bollinger Jr.
A celebration of her life was held in San Francisco on August 30, 2007.
