Every parent has seen it and cringed — toddler finds a sippy cup of milk forgotten on the floor since breakfast and takes a big swig. It then becomes a waiting game to see whether tummy trouble ensues.
The folks at Thermos can't stop your child from munching and slurping his way through the mealtime debris on your floor, but they do think they have a way to make at least some of it safer.
The company based in Rolling Meadows, Ill., has launched three new insulated food and drink containers designed to keep tots' drinks and munchies warm or cold far longer than the typical plastic container can.
The Foogo line includes a 7-ounce sippy cup that keeps drinks cold for up to six hours, a 12-ounce straw bottle that keeps the chill for up to 12 hours, and a food jar that stays cold for seven hours or hot for five hours.
