A large column of concrete, attached to the former ZCMI Center, falls to the ground during demolition Friday. Downtown buildings are being razed to make way for the new City Creek Center. Deconstruction is scheduled to continue through next spring. Upon completion, City Creek development will feature an indoor-outdoor mix of retail, residential and office space.
