Herb Kohler
1932 ~ 2008
Herbert (Herb) Leonard Koehler, beloved, devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away at age 75 on Jan. 8, 2008, in Salt Lake City, UT. He was born on January 16, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Arthur Clemens Ernst Koehler and Margot Marie Elizabeth Lange. He married Faye Marian Lindman on June 26, 1958 in the Salt Lake Temple.
He is a hard-working, talented, jack of all trades and adventurer. He diligently fulfilled his many church callings, including serving as Stake Mission President, Stake High Councilor, and as Stake Executive Secretary for three stake presidents.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Faye; children, Wendy (Brent), Keith (Sabrena), Kelly (John), Spencer (Shelley), Tori (Glen); children, Jeff (Cindy), Nicky from a prior marriage; 22 grandchildren, two brothers, three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, four older brothers, and infant sister.
Viewings will be held at Memorial Estates, 6500 S. Redwood Rd., on Sunday, January 13, 6-8 p.m. and at the LDS Cannon 9th Ward, 1250 W 1400 S, on Monday, January 14, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment is at Memorial Estates.
